From all of us at Infusionsoft, we wish you a safe and warm holiday as you spend time with those who matter to you. We’ll also spend time with our families and friends this time of year. Our offices will be closed December 24-25 and December 31 to January 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s. With that said, I thought I’d get a little crafty and share my own version of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, which was originally penned by Charles Clarke Moore.
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Infusionsoft
Not a bug was stirring, not even in the next release.
Public shout outs in the Fusebucks area were written with ease,
In hopes that the Winter 2013 Release would please.
Users were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of growing their business danced in their heads.
And Clate in his vision, and our team’s passion,
Had built our campaigns for a long winter’s snackin’.
When in the office there arose such a clatter,
Employees all knew what was the matter.
Movers to the left and right, they moved our office in a flash,
Packed up and ready for a new home, boxes filled with our stash.
The moon shined down on our Gilbert address,
Gave the lustre of opportunity in our new digs within Chandler’s nest.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
86,000 square feet and massive growth is sure to be near.
With an experienced driver, so lively and not a hack,
I knew in a moment it must be Mr. Mask.
More rapid than eagles, his leadership team arrived,
And he whistled, smiled, and shouted and knew they were anything but surprised!
“Now Scott Martineau! Now, Greg Head! Now, Marc Chesley and Richard Tripp!
On, Hal Halladay! On, Aaron Stead! On Kathy Sacks!
To the challenges we face! To the results we deliver!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away without a quiver!”
As TOPS and SMARTS that were committed to,
When they meet our team, there is nothing we can’t do.
So up to the office-top the team they flew,
With the business full of accomplishments, innovation, dreams, and Mr. Mask too.
And then, in whispers, we heard the rumors
A big announcement and much more around the corner.
As you draw possibilities in your head, and wonder if your dreams can be accomplished, you can,
When we’re in Chandler we’ll let you in on our plan.
He was dressed in jeans, from his hip to his foot,
And his shirts were all pressed with an iron, wrinkles went caput.
A bundle of fresh ideas and opportunities he shared with us,
With fear and ego not present, he drives this little thing called Infusionsoft.
His eyes-how they lit up! His leadership how effective!
His beliefs are like roses, his team is so productive!
His sights set on tomorrow and what obstacles we’ll conquer,
All of us are in, in for the commitments we honor.
Proud of our accomplishments, he never forgets,
The Campaign Builder, InfusionCon, record-low software defects,
Above all, our users he has such a love for,
A genuine appreciation for their success and happiness,
Handouts he provides none, he creates opportunities and more.
He is energetic, confident and has an edge,
Users attracted towards him, in spite of our software’s challenge!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
He declared ‘Easy is the new Normal!’ like a man says ‘I do’ in a marriage,
Soon users the affirmed that they had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And believed in all of us and our dreams, then turned with a jerk.
And has his finger on the pulse,
And giving a nod, onward to Chandler we go!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team he gave his support,
And away they all carried on with integrity and comfort.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”
